Past President / Director
Pat was president of the New York Chapter for the past two years (2010-2011) and serves as Past President/Director on the 2012 Board of Directors.
Pat is the VP/Administration for the NY headquarters (200 employees) at WSP Flack + Kurtz. She is responsible for office administration, facilities planning, liaison with their parent company, and with WSP F+K’s five other US offices. Pat serves on WSP F+K’s national Green Operations Committee to continually incorporate sustainability measures into office operations, and was part of WSP F+K’s ISO 9001 Task Force which achieved ISO certification in 2011. She also serves as the firm’s Facility Security Officer.
Pat joined SDA in 2004 and chaired the Program Committee for two years. She arranged several SDA project tours: Hearst HQ, Staten Island Ferry Terminals, the New York Times, and Columbia University New Science and Laboratory Building. She has also organized Membership Parties and hosted a number of programs and roundtables, attended four EdSymposia and the Leadership Conference in 2008, as well as serving on the Board as Corresponding Secretary and as VP/Membership Chair for four years. Pat obtained her Certified Design Firm Administrator accreditation in 2008, was named NY Chapter Member of the Year in 2007, and was presented the SDA National Profiles of Success Award–Silver Level in 2011.
