Option 1 - Virtual Build and Fundraising to benefit City Harvest

STEP 1

Submit your Call for Entries form: Canstruction New York 2020 Call for Entries
Choose Option 1 - Virtual Build and Fundraising.

STEP 2

Follow the steps in Option 2 starting at Step 2.

Set up your sub-team page and start fundraising on behalf of Canstruction New York 2020 to benefit City Harvest. Teams must raise a minimum of $1,500.00 to qualify for the competition.

STEP 3

RULES & REGULATIONS
Download and read the 2020 Rules & Regulations UPDATED NOVEMBER 13th. There may be some additions and updates as we receive further guidelines from Canstruction National.

STEP 4

CONCEPT DESIGN
Monday, November 16, 2020 or within 7 days of entry if after November 16 - Provide a sketch rendering ASAP with dimensions (L, W, H) of your structure concept in JPG, PNG, or PDF format. DO NOT send CAD files. This is used to determine repeats and similarities of design. Email to email@canstructionny.org with the subject line “Design Submission.”

TEAM KICK-OFF MEETING
November 9, 2020 at 6:30 pm via Zoom.

Option 2 - Fundraising to benefit City Harvest Only

STEP 1

Submit your Call for Entries form: Canstruction New York 2020 Call for Entries

Choose Option 2 - Fundraising Only.

We suggest all teams set a fundraising goal of $3,000.00 or higher. Last year, teams averaged spending over $8,000.00 on their entries.

STEP 2

Create your own sub-team for Canstruction New York 2020.

Go to the Canstruction New York 2020 Virtual Food Drive page, select the button “Create a Sub-Team” on the right side of the page, and follow the prompts on the following page. Please use the same team name used in your Call for Entries submission.

If you need any assistance in creating a sub-team, please reach out to Kai Arrindell from the City Harvest team at karrindell@cityharvest.org or 646-412-0615, letting her know you’d like to set up a sub-team under the Canstruction 2020 fundraiser. She is happy to help get you set up!

STEP 3

Get the word out about your Virtual Food Drive. Your sub-team page includes several tools to help you get started, like email and social media post templates.

There will be a team meeting soon and City Harvest will go over the tools and ideas for your fundraising efforts.
