Zoom – Beyond the Basics!

SDA Seattle and SDA New York are joining forces for a “behind the scenes” look at Zoom.  Emily and Amy will review basics but then branch into features not well known, including:

  • Polls
  • Breakout rooms
  • Pinning a participant
  • Backgrounds and filters
  • Whiteboard
  • Security settings
  • And recently added new features

Amy and Emily will also share a checklist for settings for global and individual meetings.
This program will turn Zoom into a real asset for communication.

Amy Nanni, CDFA, Director. Amy is in charge of facilities & administration at CONSTRUCT Architecture Studio. She joined the SDA in 2004 and has served as the President, Past President, Director and Corresponding Secretary of SDANY. Amy was the SDA National Vice President for two years and has served on numerous local and national SDA committees. She is Co-Chair of Canstruction® New York, SDANY’s not-for-profit charity. Amy received the national Lifetime Achievement Award in 2015 and has received the chapter Member of the Year Award twice!
Emily Moline Meyer, CDFA, of Bernardo|Wills Architects, joined the A/E/C industry in 2017 with little knowledge of this new world, but a strong desire to learn and grow. SDA will forever be credited for her growth and development as a design firm administrative professional. As her firm’s Client Engagement Manager, Emily supports the technical staff’s strategic relationships to develop business, grows the Bernardo Wills Architects company network, and manages all digital marketing outlets.   In 2019, Emily took the next step in her career to become a Certified Design Firm Administrator, which added a new depth to her knowledge and made her a greater asset to SDA Seattle and her firm.
