Presenter Bios:
Stacie Wong is a principal at GLUCK+. Named by Fast Company as a top 10 most innovative companies in architecture, the firm is recognized for Architect Led Design Build. Stacie’s design and construction experience began 28 years ago with the Yale Building Project’s design-build of a single-family residence in New Haven. Ever since, she has advocated for architect involvement in construction to increase the impact of design on the physical environment. Stacie brings that focus to commercial, educational, and residential work from early strategic planning, programming, and community stakeholder engagement, through construction.
Stacie has been featured in and written for publications including Metropolis Magazine, Wallpaper*, Architectural Record and Architectural Design (UK), and has lectured as keynote speaker on the firm’s approach to Architect Led Design Build. She has served on design juries for the Architectural League and NYSERDA Buildings of Excellence Competition. Stacie received her Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of California at Berkeley, Master of Architecture from Yale University, and is a registered architect in New York.
Patty McCaffery, PE, LEED AP, is a Principal at Meyers+ Engineers. During Patty’s 30 year career as a professional engineer based in the New York area, she has completed projects in a variety of market sectors including corporate interiors, performing arts, cultural and most notably, the federal market sector. Patty has successfully led a design practice focused on working with the federal government both internationally and domestically, having completed projects in 40+ countries on 5 continents. Her portfolio of completed work has ranged in scope and complexity from master planning studies to major renovations and new construction. Patty has executed projects through a variety of delivery methods including design-bid-build and design-build. Most recently, Patty was responsible for overseeing the engineering design of three new diplomatic campuses totaling over $1 billion dollars in construction.
Bill Allan is the Regional Director, Hudson Valley for Consigli Construction Co., Inc., a leading construction management firm in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. An industry leader with four decades of diverse experience in both the United States and the United Kingdom leading complex and challenging projects, Bill Allan oversees the firm’s business development, day-to-day operations and project management for its Westchester and Pleasant Valley offices.
With a demonstrated track record of successful delivery of high-profile healthcare, higher education and cultural projects, throughout his career, Bill has partnered with a wide range of prestigious clients, including Northwell Health, New York-Presbyterian, Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York Blood Center, Sarah Lawrence College, Bard College, Vassar College, Storm King Art Center.
